Privacy & information

Privacy is part of the care around the care.

This page explains the boundaries between the public website, contacting the clinic, online booking and clinical records. It is written as a practical orientation, not as a request for health information.

01 · The public website

General information, not a clinical record.

This website provides general information about Conscious Bodywork, its practitioners and available ways of working. It does not provide a diagnosis or advice tailored to an individual.

The public pages do not ask you to enter health information. The website host may process basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as request, device and security data.

02 · Phone and email

Share only what is needed for the enquiry.

If you call or email reception, Conscious Bodywork may receive your name, contact details and the information you choose to include. Ordinary email is best used for practical questions rather than urgent or highly sensitive health information.

If you have a privacy-sensitive question, call (02) 4031 8834 and ask reception for the most appropriate way to communicate it.

03 · Online booking

Online booking has its own privacy step.

When you open the booking window or follow the direct booking link, you are using Conscious Bodywork’s external booking service.

Information you enter there is handled for appointment booking under the information and privacy notices presented within that service. Review those notices before submitting details.

04 · Clinical information

Health information is handled separately from editorial content.

Information collected for the purpose of providing care may form part of a clinical or appointment record. Access to those records is limited to people and service providers who need it for authorised clinic purposes.

The clinic’s current privacy policy and collection information can be requested from reception. That policy should be read alongside any notice shown when you book or complete patient information.

05 · Your choices

Ask, access, correct or raise a concern.

You can contact Conscious Bodywork to ask how your personal information is handled, request access or correction, or raise a privacy concern.
